In some dialects gruag is used for 'hair'.

gruag hair

tha gruag bhàn air he has fair hair

feusag a beard

tha feusag mhòr air he has a big beard

stais a moustache

tha stais dhubh air he has a black moustache

Notice that gruag, feusag and stais cause lenition in the adjective (an h after the first consonant) as they are feminine nouns.
