Slender L

Let’s have a look at the variations of the slender L sound in Gaelic.

The slender L sound is made by pressing your tongue against the roof of your mouth (palate) while pronouncing the letter, and occurs when the L is before or after an e or i. The slender L can be heard in leugh (read):
